Our Story

Animals gone for 65 million years or living now are a big part of my life. I love Dinosaurs, my critters, wildlife, and nature and art of all kinds.

Meet the Critters

Each one is a beautiful part of my family, and talk about personalities!

Cinnamon

Cinny, our 5 year old female is an emu Chris and I hatched and raised. She is amazing with the 1 year old chicks we hatched to add to the mob. Cinny loves to boom her drum when she wants attention, hugs, and scratches, or treats haha!

Since we had to rehome Bolty the male emu, we decided to order some eggs online and see if any would hatch so Cinny wouldn't be alone. 2 out of the 4 eggs hatched! One is a blond emu we named Hawn (after Goldie Hawn) and one we named Joey (after a baby kangaroo) They are about a year and a half now. Hawn is drumming and is a female and Joey is a gentle male emu such a sweetie. All 3 emus get along great and love to follow eachother around and play! They are the cutest emu mob around!

Cobalt

Bolty had to be rehomed to a cute ranchette where he didnt have the pressures of breeding as he was to aggressive to every one. His new home sounds amazing now, but I still miss this little feisty emu.

Jessie Dog

Jessie passed on 2-20-2020 and we miss her greatly! She lived to almost 16 years old and was not comfortable any more in her hips and joints, she ended up getting appendicitis though in the end, and despite the vets best efforts we were unable to save her . It was a tough year for both Chris and I being without her, but we are glad she is in puppy heaven able to run and play ball again! We miss you more than you know Jess!

Jessie was an abandoned dog that was going to be put down but they had an ad on our local radio station on tradeo about her In the year 2005. She had one day left if somebody wanted her. I went the next day and got her and it was one of the best decisions of my life. Jess went on so many amazing adventures with Chris and I and was our best friend. She went on many dino digs and loved the rivers, lakes, and oceans we all went to together. We still think of you often Jess, Love Katie and Chris.
